It's been a while.....

Yes, it's been quite a while. That's because I took a few steps back and took a hard look at myself and the art I was producing. And I was dissatisfied with all I was doing. So, I slowed down, reevaluated my stuff and decided I needed to go back to school. Not literally, but figuratively and became a student again. Bought some recommended books, watched a lot of youtube videos, and pulled out my Loomis books and went to work. I drew, I studied, I drew some more, I started using color in my sketchbooks, started painting and became more deliberate when doing my inking. I think that I'm making progress, and I'm sure I have a way to go, but I like what I'm seeing in the results. I've a lot more to learn, but i feel i did the right thing and I feel I'm headed in the right direction. So, stayed tuned, I plan to put up the new art and show you what I've been up to. Yup, it's been a while....
